9 Days best of Uganda wilderness Safari

This best of Uganda wilderness is a typical adventure encounter into the wilderness where you forget about bungalows and lush linen to explore the typical African life in the wilderness only surrounded by verdant flora and great fauna.

The 9 days Safari takes you to Kibale Forest National Park for chimpanzee trekking, primate walk in Semliki National Park, wild game viewing in Queen Elizabeth National Park, and a Boat Launch Cruise along with chimpanzee trekking, gorilla tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, and to the Place of many Bird to relax at Lake Bunyonyi Island.

Day1:Transfer from Kampala to Kibale Forest National park 

In the morning after breakfast, our driver guide will transfer you from Kampala – Uganda’s capital to western Uganda passing through Mityana, proceeding with the journey through tea plantations of Kabarole district and then a stop for lunch in fort portal, finally a drive to your lodge in Kibale Forest National park for your Dinner and Overnight.

Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking and afternoon transfer to Semliki National Park.

In the morning after breakfast, your guide will transfer you from the lodge to the park head office, where you will be briefed and later start off with Chimpanzee trekking in the forest.

This park is well-known for different primates and several crater lakes within Uganda. You will see the chimps in their natural environment. These are man’s closest cousins and are so exciting and this encounter will reward you with a memorable experience on your Safari. After your lunch, you will be transferred to timelike national Park going through Bundibugyo District arriving on time for dinner and overnight at the Lodge.

Day 3: Exploring Semuliki Valley National Park

This is another rich destination in terms of flora and fauna you will have a chance to see primates like monkeys, baboons, and elephants if you are lucky, different species of plants and not forgetting a number of birds and butterflies as you explore this Park on your full-day Tour. In the evening return to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight at the Lodge of your choice.

Day 4: Transfer from Semliki National Park to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Early in the morning after breakfast, your guide will transfer you from Semliki national park to Queen Elizabeth national park to catch up with your afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga channel that will introduce you to a number of aquatic animals. Later in the evening, you will be transferred to the  Lodge for Dinner and Overnight at the Lodge of your choice.

Day 5: Morning wild game viewing and afternoon Chimpanzee trekking in Kyambura gorge

After breakfast, set off for a game drive in search of different wildlife species like lions, elephants, antelopes, buffaloes, waterbucks, giraffes, and if lucky enough leopards together with amazing beautiful birds species.

Queen Elizabeth National Park has a diversity of Uganda’s ecosystems such as the Savannah, wetlands, lakes, forests, and over 600 bird species that live in the park. With this, its scenery is spectacular with crater lakes like Nyamunuka and various shrubs and forests.

Later enjoy your lunch at the Lodge and go to Kyambura gorge to trek chimpanzees.

Day 6: Transfer from Queen Elizabeth National Park to Bwindi Forest National Park via Ishasha Sector

Immediately after breakfast, you will embark on the road for another adventurous drive to Bwindi impenetrable park from Queen Elizabeth national park passing through the Ishasha Sector while searching for the Famous Tree Climbing Lions en route, Later have Lunch and proceed to Bwindi Forest National Park, one of the world’s Heritage sites which are famously known for gorilla tracking. In the evening reaching the lodge for your Dinner and Overnight.

Day 7: Gorilla Tracking and  afternoon relax at the lodge

Have breakfast in the morning, after which your driver-guide will take you to the headquarters in the park by 8:00 am for briefing.

Later embark on the amazing adventure which is gorilla tracking, in most cases this activity requires some physical fitness by the trackers. On several occasions, it takes between 1 to 6hours to track these Gentle Giants, and trackers are permitted to be with the gorillas for 1 hour.

On finding the Gorillas, the experience is really nice as see them play, guard each other, feed among others. If Lucky you will also get to see other animals like the Primates, Forest elephants, buffaloes as well as birds.

After tracking, you will be transferred back to the lodge for lunch and enjoy the afternoon to relax at the Lodge of your choice.

Day 8: Transfer from Bwindi Forest to Lake Bunyonyi Island

After your leisurely breakfast, you will set off for Lake Bunyonyi Island. On arrival here enjoy a boat /canoe ride to the surrounding Islands as you search for different bird species on the 37 Islands of the Lake. Retreat and drive back to the lodge for lunch, in the afternoon you will relax at the Lodge as you enjoy the views of Lake Bunyonyi and the sounds of the Birds on this beautiful lake. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge of your choice.

Day 9: Transfer to Kampala

After breakfast, we depart for Kampala with a lunch stop at Igongo Cultural Center in Mbarara and at the Equator for the water experiment and Photographs. On arrival in Kampala, we will transfer to the Hotel or Airport for Outbound Flight. End of Tour
