This 3 days gorilla safari in Rwanda will start and end in Kigali Rwanda’s capital. It is inclusive of gorilla tracking and a gorilla tracking permit which costs $1,500 Per Permit in the Volcanoes national park which is home to over400 gorillas. This will include other activities like the Kigali city tour.

Day 1: Arrive in Rwanda- Volcanoes National Park
On your arrival, our driver-guide will brief you about the details concerning your 3 days tour and transfer heading North to Parc National des Volcans (Volcanoes National Park).
This park is located 80km from Kigali, approximately a two hours drive. Depending on your time of arrival in Kigali City, you will have a city tour of this beautiful city where you will be able to visit the National Museum of the Genocide memorial centre then have lunch and transfer to the Gorilla park in the afternoon. Arrival on time for Dinner and Overnight.

Day 2: Gorilla tracking – Twin lakes visit / Community walk
Have yourself breakfast in the morning, after which our driver guide will take you to the headquarters in the park by 8:00 am for briefing. Later embark on the amazing adventure which is gorilla tracking, in most cases this activity requires some physical fitness by the hikers. On several occasions it takes between 1 to 6hours to trek and trekkers are permitted to be with the gorillas for 1 hour.
It is really a nice experience seeing them play, guard each other, feed among others. While trekking hikers will be in line to also see other animals like the golden monkeys, elephants, buffaloes as well as birds.
After tracking, you will be escorted back to the park headquarters and head back to the lodge for your lunch and opt for a visit to the twin lakes; Burera and Ruhondo or take a walk in the community and watch traditional dances of the local Community or you can relax in the afternoon at your booked lodge as you await your dinner and Overnight.

Day 3: Departure
Early morning after breakfast at the lodge, you will be transferred to Kigali city where you will have a short time shopping from local markets, you can buy souvenirs. Just in case you are still on time, you could also visit the pottery project and the Franco-Rwandan cultural center. Enjoy lunch and transfer to the airport for your flight home.
